HOW CAN WE HELP?

Tendinopathy

Persistent tendon pain and reduced tolerance to loading that can affect work, exercise or sport.

________

WHAT IS IT?

Tendinopathy describes a tendon that has become painful and less tolerant of load. Common sites include the Achilles, patellar, gluteal, elbow and shoulder tendons.

________

COMMON SYMPTOMS

Localised tendon pain; stiffness after rest; pain at the start or after activity; reduced strength or confidence with loading.

________

HOW JADEX CAN HELP

Treatment usually centres on identifying current load tolerance and progressively rebuilding strength. Complete rest is rarely the long-term answer, although temporary modification may be useful.
