HOW CAN WE HELP?

Frozen Shoulder

A painful and increasingly stiff shoulder that can significantly restrict movement, sleep and everyday activities.

________

WHAT IS IT?

Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, typically causes a marked reduction in shoulder movement alongside pain. Symptoms often develop gradually and can persist for a prolonged period, although the course varies between individuals.

________

COMMON SYMPTOMS

Progressive stiffness; difficulty reaching overhead or behind the back; night pain; pain with sudden movements; restriction in several directions.

________

HOW JADEX CAN HELP

Assessment helps confirm whether the pattern is consistent with frozen shoulder and rule out other causes. Management can include education, pain-sensitive movement, rehabilitation and discussion of corticosteroid injection or medical review where appropriate.
