HOW CAN WE HELP?

Bursitis

Localised pain and tenderness around a bursa, often aggravated by pressure, movement or repeated activity.

________

WHAT IS IT?

Bursae are small fluid-filled structures that reduce friction around joints. They can become irritated, although the surrounding tendons and joint often need to be considered as well.

________

COMMON SYMPTOMS

Localised tenderness; swelling in some areas; pain with pressure; pain through specific movements.

________

HOW JADEX CAN HELP

Assessment identifies whether a bursa is likely to be the main pain source and looks for contributing load or movement factors. Rehabilitation and selected injection options can be discussed where appropriate.
